All Lab Tests

A1C Glycohemoglobin – The A1C test measures what percentage of your hemoglobin — a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen — is coated with sugar (glycated). The higher your A1C level, the poorer your blood sugar control, and the higher your risk of diabetes complications. Fasting is NOT required.

ABO & RH Type  – This test is based on the antigens on the surface of red blood cells. Two major antigens are the A and B antigens, while another important surface antigen is called Rh. Blood typing detects the presence or absence of these antigens to determine your ABO blood group and Rh type. Fasting not required.

Basic Metabolic  – This test measures glucose, sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, carbon dioxide, blood urea nitrogen, and creatinine, which can help determine blood sugar level and kidney function.

Body Build 1-3: – Three different panels and prices to choose from. Evaluates hormone levels for males and females, liver functions, magnesium levels, and thyroid.

  • Panel 1 Estradiol, Free & Total Testosterone
  • Panel 2 Magnesium, Red Blood Cell Count, Estradiol, Hepatic Function Panel, Free & Total Testosterone
  • Panel 3 Magnesium, Red Blood Cell Count, Estradiol, Hepatic Function Panel, Free & Total Testosterone, Thyroid Panel, Sex Hormone Binding Globulin

CBC – A blood test used to evaluate your overall health and detect a wide range of disorders. Fasting not required. White blood count, Red blood count, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, Platelet Count, Abs Neutrophils, Abs Lymphocytes, Abs Monocytes, Abs Eosinophils, ABS Basophils, Abs Immature Grans, Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Eosinophils, Basophils, Immature Grans.

CEA (Carcinoembryonic AG) – This is a protein normally found in very low levels in the blood of adults. The CEA blood level may be increased in certain types of cancer and non-cancerous (benign) conditions. A CEA test is most commonly used for colorectal cancer. Fasting is not required.

Chlamydia/GC (Urine) – A molecular test that detects the genetic material (DNA) of Chlamydia trachomatis, a sexually transmitted disease.

C-Peptide –This is a substance, a short chain of amino acids, that is released into the blood as a byproduct of the formation of insulin by the pancreas. This test measures the amount of C-peptide in blood. Fasting not required.

C-Reactive Protein – C-Reactive is a protein made by the liver. CRP levels in the blood increase when there is a condition causing inflammation somewhere in the body. That means that it is released into the blood within a few hours after an injury, the start of an infection, or other causes of inflammation. Fasting not required.

CP24 – Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Glucose, Creatinine, Iron, Uric Acid, Calcium, Alkaline Phosphatase, Total Protein, Albumin, Globulin, Bilirubin, AST, ALT, GGT, Cholesterol, Triglycerides, HDL, LDL, and Chol/HDL Ratio.

Comprehensive Metabolic – This test combines the Basic Metabolic Panel with six additional tests for a more comprehensive evaluation of metabolic functions, with a focus on organ systems.

DHEA – Evaluates adrenal gland function. Fasting not required.

DNA Paternity Testing – DNA testing is the use of DNA profiles to determine whether an individual is the biological parent of another individual. Paternity testing can be especially important when the rights and duties of the father are in issue and a child’s paternity is in doubt. Tests can also determine the likelihood of someone being a biological grandparent.

Estradiol, Serum – Measures the amount of estradiol (female sex hormone) which is basically a form of estrogen) in your blood. The test will determine your estrogen status, evaluate your ovarian function, and monitor the follicular development during ovulation. In men, this test is used to assess estrogen production levels. Fasting not required.

Ferritin – This test measures the number of ferritin molecules in the blood. Ferritin is a protein in the body that binds to iron.  The level of ferritin correlates with the total amount of iron stored in the body.   Ferritin is low in those with iron deficiency anemia and high when levels of iron are raised.  Liver dysfunction can cause elevated ferritin levels because the liver is unable to clear it from the body. Ferritin may also be increased when the body is inflamed, or an infection is present. Fasting not required.

FSH Serum – Follicle Stimulating Hormone test measures the amount of FSH, a sex hormone produced by the pituitary gland, in your blood. In women, Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) stimulates the production of eggs and a hormone called estradiol during the first half of the menstrual cycle.  In men, Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) stimulates the production of sperm. Fasting not required.

General Health – This panel checks your overall health functions. The test can uncover anemia, infection, and more. Tests included in panel: Comprehensive Metabolic Profile, Lipid Panel, Uric Acid, Iron, Complete Blood Count, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, Urinalysis.

GTT (1-Hour) – The glucose tolerance test is a lab test to check how your body moves sugar from the blood into tissues like muscle and fat. The test is often used to diagnose gestational diabetes.

GTT  (3-Hour) – In the three-hour test, a healthcare provider will ask you to consume a syrupy glucose solution that contains 100 grams of sugar. They’ll draw your blood when you’re fasting and at the one, two, and three-hour marks after you’ve drunk the glucose solution. Fasting required. Both the 1-hour and 3-hour GTT are used during pregnancy to detect gestational diabetes.

Heart Profile  – Indicates risk for heart disease, stroke, and osteoporosis. Tests included in panel: Advanced Cardio Panel, Comprehensive Metabolic panel, C Reactive Protein, Homocysteine, Lipoprotein Particle Protein

HCG (pregnancy test) Blood – Values may reach detectable limits within 7-10 days of conception. HCG is produced by the placenta and reaches a peak between the 7th and 10th week of gestation. Fasting not required.

Hepatic Function 1 – Hepatic Function is a liver function panel blood test that helps doctors check for liver injury, infection, or disease. Liver function panels also can check for side effects in the liver from some medicines.

Hep B Titer – A Hep B titer is a blood test that checks if you are immune to Hepatitis B. It measures your antibody levels to get a sense of whether your immune system has the capability to respond to an infection with Hepatitis B. Fasting not required.

Herpes Type 1 & 2 (HSV) – Used to detect both Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 and Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2 (HSV-1 and HSV-2) by searching for antibodies to the viruses. HSV-1 and HSV-2 both cause oral and genital herpes.

HIV (Screen Serum) – This shows whether you are infected with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus).

Homocysteine – This is an amino acid that is normally present in very small amounts in the blood.  Normally the vitamins B6, B12, and folate quickly convert homocysteine to other products but when there is a deficiency of these vitamins leaves the amino acid in the blood at higher than normal levels.  There is some evidence that excess homocysteine is linked to atherosclerosis allowing blood clots to form and causing damage to blood vessel walls. Excess homocysteine is also found in people with a rare genetic disorder called homocystinuria caused by a dysfunctional enzyme that is required for metabolism.  The buildup of this enzyme and homocysteine in infants can cause serious health issues including failure to thrive and people with the disease may develop heart or blood vessel diseases at an early age. Fasting not required.

H-Pylori (Breath) – A urea breath test (UBT) is a diagnostic test to determine if there are H. pylori bacteria in the stomach. During the test, breath samples collected before and shortly after drinking a drug solution are used to test for H. pylori. Fasting is required.

Lipid Panel – This test measures the level of specific lipids in the blood. Fasting is suggested. Cholesterol, HDL, Triglycerides, LDL

Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Serum – This test measures how much of the hormone is in your blood.   The LH is produced by the pituitary gland in both men and women. In females, this hormone helps regulate the menstrual cycle and egg production.  It is common to see LH levels rise and fall during the monthly menstrual cycle.  It is also useful in the production of estrogen and progesterone. In males, LH is responsible for the release of testosterone (which plays a role in producing sperm). Fasting not required.

Men’s Profile:  – Evaluates hormones that can lead to problems with puberty, fertility, and sex drive. Tests included in panel: Comprehensive Metabolic Profile, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, Prostate-Specific Antigen, Complete Blood Count, Urinalysis, Free & Total Testosterone

Microalbumin/Creatinine Ratio – Microalbumin is a small amount of a protein called albumin. It is normally found in the blood. Creatinine is a normal waste product found in urine. A microalbumin creatinine ratio compares the amount of albumin to the amount of creatinine in your urine. Fasting not required.

Nutritional Profile – Determines if you are getting enough nutrition by checking electrolytes, sugar, proteins, enzymes, and vitamins. Tests included in panel: Comprehensive Metabolic Profile, Homocysteine, Complete Blood Count, Iron and Iron Total Iron Binding Capacity, Vitamin B12, Folate, Vitamin D, Zinc, Ferritin, Vitamin C

RPR (FTA) – A blood test used to screen you for syphilis. It works by detecting the nonspecific antibodies that your body produces while fighting the infection. Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the spirochete bacterium Treponema pallidum.

TPO/Thyroid AB – The Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies test assists in the diagnosis of thyroid diseases such as endemic goiter, Graves Disease, autoimmune thyroiditis, Addison’s Disease, insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, Hashimoto’s Disease, and polyendocrine auto-immunopathies. Fasting not required.

TSH – This test checks your body’s production of TSH and helps screen for thyroid disease, hyperthyroidism, and hypothyroidism. Fasting not required.

Thyroid Panel – A blood panel used to determine thyroid function and can give more information to the diagnosis of hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.

Uric Acid  – This test determines how much uric acid is present in your blood. The test can help determine how well your body produces and removes uric acid. Uric acid is a chemical produced when your body breaks down foods that contain organic compounds called purines. Fasting not required.

Urinalysis, Micro only  – This test looks at a sample of your urine under a microscope. It can see cells from your urinary tract, blood cells, crystals, bacteria, parasites, and cells from tumors. This test is often used to confirm the findings of other tests or add information to a diagnosis.

Urinalysis, Complete  – This test provides a number of measurements that look for abnormalities in the urine. Abnormal results from this test can be indicative of a number of conditions including kidney disease, urinary tract infection, or elevated levels of substances which the body is trying to remove through the urine. Fasting is recommended.

Vitamin B12 & Folate – Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin) and Folate are necessary for normal red blood cell (RBC) formation, repair of tissues and cells, and synthesis of DNA, the genetic material in cells. Both are nutrients that cannot be produced and must be supplied by the diet. Fasting not required.

Vitamin D 250H – The 25-hydroxy vitamin D test is the most accurate way to measure how much vitamin D is in your body. Vitamin D helps control calcium and phosphate levels in the body. Fasting not required.
