Clear Results from an experienced STD Testing Clinic
Since our establishment in 1985, ProHealth has been fully committed to offering our expertise in healthcare and providing high quality care to the members of our community. Over the past three decades, we’ve grown to expand our range of services and have become a trusted health resource for testing for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). As an STD testing clinic, we provide clear and accurate results. Our hours are convenient, our prices are affordable and we provide a level of care that sets us apart.
The testing process itself is simple. Once samples are drawn, they are sent to the lab for testing and come back within two to three days with clear, accurate results. Our convenient, affordable STD tests provide a resource for you in your quest for great health, and we encourage regular testing to anyone who is sexually active.

The STD Tests You Need
Our STD testing clinic offers multiple STD tests, including:
- Gonorrhea and Chlamydia – We must test for these diseases simultaneously and require a urine sample.
- HIV - A doctor’s order is needed so that results can be reported to the Health Department as well as to the consulting physician, and testing requires a blood sample to be taken.
- Herpes simplex virus (HSV) 1 and 2 - Testing requires a blood sample to be taken.
- RPR syphilis - Testing requires blood samples to be taken.
At the ProHealth STD testing clinic, we test for each particular STD separately, as we do not offer an STD test panel. The only STD test requiring a formal doctor’s order is HIV testing, but existing patients of our clinic and individuals belonging to a program or under the care of a physician who may accept results can also have HIV testing without the need for an official request.
Regardless of where testing takes place, all STDs are legally required to be reported to the Health Department. ProHealth’s STD testing clinic sends samples to Quest Labs, who then notify the Health Department of any STDs that have been found. Most test results are processed in an average of 72 hours, which means that you’ll have accurate answers in a relatively short period of time.
For anyone who cannot afford the cost of testing, the Health Department conducts free testing for HIV and syphilis from 4:30 p.m.to 6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month.
Sexual Health Beyond STD Tests
Sexual health is something that we at ProHealth feel should be a high priority. In addition to STD testing, we also offer women’s health services. We also perform PAP smears at some of our clinic locations, and our affordable appointments include an office visit, a manual breast exam and pap with reading. We can also write prescriptions for birth control. Providers at select locations can perform IUD removals, and an appointment is recommended for the procedure.
